This work is based on the authors' experience in teaching Psychiatric Nursing disciplines. The objective is to carry through theoretical ideals on the teaching of Psychiatric Nursing and, in particular, on the interventions carried out while trying to make a difference. For in such a way, it appeals to the concepts of psychoanalysis - elaboration in Freud and time and its three possible assertions in Lacan - to subsidize the argument. We conclude that time is an essential factor in the act to teaching Psychiatric Nursing, as the dimension in the which the student has the opportunity to work on content that refer him/her to his/her psychic life.Downloads
