The article aims at analyzing the book Solidão provisória by the Brazilian poet Luiz de Miranda based on its context of production, the decade of 1970, and showing in what way his poetry could create a resistance strategy that would make this
book, in some of its parts, closer to the thinking of the Algerian philosopher Jacques Derrida. This approach is mainly due to the acceptance of reality within the literary discourse, enabling a dynamic that connects production to the notion of “unconditional hospitality”, proposed by Derrida. All this associated with the work with language, which places the author among the category of mediating poets, reconciling social engagement with aesthetic content.
