This study identified what the nursing technicians from the UFMG'Clinics Hospital have about the Care Plan. The results revealed that the Care Plan is considered a directional guide to the patient's care it allows them to give priority and sequence to the steps of the care. It also points out that some technicians do not perceive the importance of the plan's utilization due to its limitation to transcription of doctor's prescription. The technicians also believe that the Care Plan is not up to date nor adequate to the reality of the unit. The authors indicate the necessity of a revision of the Care Plan as an instrument of the nursing working process.Downloads
