Abstract

The present work refers to an exploratory study about the teaching of written communication in nursing- procedures. It aims at analyzing program content on teaching written communication in nursing -procedures to the curricula at nursing schools in the state of Minas Gerais. This work also seems to identify factors that facilitate and hinder the process of teaching - learning of this topic. The results show that the teaching has been broached in all the schools, mainly in subjects of the 4th year of professional cycle, although superficially and configured to the limited contents of teaching unity: patients' medical records.
