Motivações, crenças e reforço musical em casa na educação musical precoce
um estudo de caso

O contexto social e cultural condiciona a forma como os pais apoiam e enriquecem as experiências musicais dos seus filhos. Sabe-se que a frequência e o tipo de estimulação que as crianças recebem nos seus primeiros dois anos de vida é a chave para o seu desenvolvimento posterior. O objetivo do nosso estudo foi explorar as crenças e motivações que levam os pais de crianças dos 0 aos 2 anos de idade a inscrever os seus filhos em aulas de educação musical precoce; e a sua possível relação com o reforço musical oferecido em casa. Os resultados mostraram que os motivos se baseiam na visão de uma série de benefícios que os pais dão à estimulação precoce. Além disso, a visão positiva que os pais têm sobre esta formação musical parece estar relacionada com a frequência com que pais e filhos interagem musicalmente.
