The library of the instituitions of higher education in Brazil and standards of the Ministry of Education: preliminar analysis

Abstract

The objective of this work to promote reflections and raise questions about the standards of quality established by the commissions of specialists of the Ministry of Education and its implications for the libraries of the institutions of higher education. A total of 47 standards of quality were analyzed. The results showed heterogeneity among the instruments of evaluation. Moreover, the results will allow the identification of misconceptions and demands that cause impacts in the management and services rendered.
