The information industry and the science and technology data bases producers

Abstract

The consolidation of the information industry in the country is extremely important, in face of the phenomenon of the economic globalization. Information globalization is a phenomenon that happens in consequence of this economic process. The establishment of an industrial chain for the information systematization in the country depends on the interest of the private initiative. The paper proposes an initial model of this productive chain that is essential for the development of the information society in Brazil.
