Aspectos teóricos sobre migração de retorno no Brasil

The various forms of migration and mobility are factors that historically have played an important role in the socioeconomic development of a country. Among the different types of migration is one that will be focused in this study: the return migration, one of main events on population dynamics in the last decades. Therefore, this paper discusses some aspects relevant to studies of return migration. Before, however, the article presents a brief review of some of the main theoretical approaches to migration (which are subdivided into two levels of analysis: micro and macro), as well as problems arising from biases in choosing scales and levels of analysis.
