This paper deals with an important element for architecture: the text and analyzes a part of the work that Lina Bo Bardi did during her career, texts published in Brazilian journals, whose authorship is proven by her signature on them. Tracing an overview of the multiple and varied themes dealt with, her contributions to Brazilian architecture are evidenced, contributing to the strengthening of it in a significant period of history, the Modern Movement. These are works that go beyond urban-architectural technical issues and, with her words, Lina helped to build a vocabulary about Brazilian architecture and the entire universe, material, memorial, technical, of meanings and identity that comprise it. Thus, it is possible to understand more clearly the themes present in her discourse and how they were treated, understood and disseminated by Lina Bo Bardi, who despite being born and trained in Italy, was Brazilian, architect, designer, writer and modernist.
