Tensões e diálogos entre a experiência e a estrutura na História Vista de Baixo

Abstract

In this article we propose a panoramic discussion on the formulations of historians related to the  History from below with regard to the concepts of experience and structure. First, we analyze the criticism formulated by the Brazilian historian Rafael Marquese and compare with works by different authors. Finally, we propose a reflection on the tensions and dialogues between the different conceptions discussed, arguing that there is not an absolute refusal in the works around the concept of experience and the broader, structural and long-term historical processes.
